from the North Oregon Coast.

Alice Projects is my evolving Studio based on an intersection of Linoleum Block Printing, Drawing, Design and Nature.

My name is Jody. Through Alice Projects, I aim to share a reflection of what I see when I look to our natural surroundings, inspecting and carving moments of nature.

Art, in any form, is important for its power and ability to capture glimpses of the magic, weirdness and heartache of the birds, plants and animals we live amongst. I just happen to have a real fondness for drawing, carving, inking and printing linoleum blocks based on photographs I’ve taken of the Oregon (and sometimes California) coast.
